6 Weeks

It's been 6 weeks since Madeline was born!! It has flown by. The last 6 weeks have been a blur with little sleep, many poopy diapers, a few poopy outfits, round the clock feedings, and many many little hugs and kisses. After feeling like we were barely keeping our heads above water, we are finally able to take a deep breath. It does get better!! Madeline is a good baby and so cute so that makes our job a lot easier!! She is now focusing on her toys and smiling at them which is adorable! One of the hardest parts these last 6 weeks has been getting her to sleep at night. She loves to sleep during the day and then wakes up and is wide awake as soon as we try to go to bed. I got the BabyWise book in the mail this week and have already seen small improvements in this during the day and at night. She slept 5 hours straight last night!!!! This makes me a very happy mommy. I haven't finished the book yet, but I'll let you know how it works! We have been taking a lot of pictures of Madeline and they are on our picasa page. If you are not able to access them let us know and we can add you to the list. There were some unauthorized viewers so Mike made it a private site. It is amazing to see how much she has grown even though it makes me a little sad she is growing so fast! We'll try to keep the pictures coming.
